STS Between Centers and Peripheries: How Transnational are Leading STS Journals?

In the context of increasing internationalization science and technology studies (STS) field, reflections on post-coloniality provincialization STS, we examine to what extent a set twelve leading journals field have published papers from different regions worldwide. this exploratory work, based information retrieved Web Science for period 2010–2019, often use Latin America as an example, but reflect peripheral more broadly. Our findings show that historical West-European–North-American centers maintain their hegemony, dominating discussions in journals.
